NETS stands for National Education Technology Standards. According
to their website NETS "are the standards for evaluating the skills and knowledge educators need
to teach, work, and learn in an increasingly connected global and
digital society." The website also lists NETS for students, coaches, and
administrators.Technology in the classroom is being taken very seriously and these standards are what many schools are following when hiring or deciding which teachers possess the skills to continue educating.
